UH-PC-PM02 is a 1500V DC panel-mount solar connector designed to provide a fixed photovoltaic connection point through equipment panels and electrical enclosures. Three conductor-specific configurations are available: 30A for 2.5 mm² PV cable, 45A for 4 mm² cable and 50A for 6 mm² cable.

The threaded panel-mount body secures the connector to the equipment interface while the detachable mating side allows external PV wiring to connect to the installed equipment. Tin-plated copper contacts are supplied as standard, with silver-plated copper contacts available on request. The PC insulated housing provides IP67 protection when correctly installed and fully mated.

Installation

Installation Guidance

1. Select the UH-PC-PM02 configuration according to the installed photovoltaic conductor: 2.5 mm² / 30A, 4 mm² / 45A or 6 mm² / 50A.

2. Prepare the equipment panel according to the UH-PC-PM02 dimensional drawing and the mechanical requirements of the enclosure. Do not define the panel opening from the nominal thread diameter alone.

3. Insert the threaded connector body through the prepared panel opening and secure the panel-mount structure using the specified mounting components.

4. Prepare the photovoltaic conductor without damaging the conductor strands or insulation required for the connection.

5. Insert the conductor into the matching crimp contact and complete the termination using tooling suitable for the selected conductor and contact size.

6. Install the terminated contact into the corresponding UH-PC-PM02 housing until it is fully seated and retained.

7. Mate the external photovoltaic connector completely and verify that the mating and locking interfaces are fully engaged.

8. Check panel mounting, polarity, conductor retention and complete mating before energizing the photovoltaic circuit. Do not connect or disconnect the connector while the circuit is under electrical load.
