Overview

Product Overview

UH-PW-AT02 is a PC-class automatic transfer switch designed for applications requiring faster source changeover than conventional breaker-type ATS platforms. The product family includes 100A configurations and a 125A configuration, with 2P, 3P and 4P arrangements available according to the selected version.
Automatic and manual operating modes are integrated into the same compact platform. Regional and source-specific versions are available with different voltage configurations and front-panel markings for utility, backup and generator applications. The supplier specifies millisecond-level transfer for this PC-class series.

Millisecond-Level Transfer

PC-Class Transfer Platform

The PC-class switching structure is designed primarily for source transfer and load switching rather than breaker-style overcurrent tripping.

Fast Source Transfer

The supplier specifies millisecond-level transfer performance for the NLQ3/NLQ4 platform, providing faster source changeover than the 1–2 second CB-type UH-PW-AT01 platform.

Automatic and Manual Operation

Automatic transfer control is combined with a manual operating mechanism for commissioning, maintenance and manual source selection.

Applications

Where This Product Is Used

Energy Storage Systems

Energy Storage Systems

DC protection, isolation and switching components for battery energy storage and related DC power systems.

Residential Electrical

Residential Electrical

Protection, switching and backup-power components for residential distribution boards and low-voltage electrical systems.

Solar PV Systems

Solar PV Systems

Protection, connectivity and distribution components for photovoltaic arrays, string circuits and related solar DC systems.

UH-PW-AT02 is intended for residential, commercial and light industrial AC distribution systems requiring automatic transfer between normal and backup supplies with a shorter transfer interval. Typical source combinations include utility-to-utility and utility-to-generator arrangements, provided the voltage, frequency, pole configuration and connected load are compatible with the selected ATS version.

Installation

Installation Guidance

1. Confirm the required system voltage, rated current, pole configuration and source arrangement before installing UH-PW-AT02.

2. Fully isolate both the normal power source and backup power source before wiring or servicing the automatic transfer switch.

3. Install the ATS securely inside the electrical enclosure and provide sufficient clearance for incoming conductors, outgoing load conductors, control wiring and manual operation.

4. Connect the normal source, backup source and load conductors according to the wiring diagram supplied for the selected 2P, 3P or 4P configuration.

5. For generator versions, connect the generator-related control terminals only according to the wiring diagram supplied with that specific configuration.

6. Verify conductor arrangement, terminal tightness and source polarity or phase sequence before energizing either input source.

7. Test Manual mode first and confirm correct transfer between Source A and Source B.

8. Set the ATS to Automatic mode and perform a controlled source-failure test to verify automatic transfer and return operation.

9. Although the supplier specifies millisecond-level transfer for this PC-class platform, connected loads must still tolerate a short supply interruption. Do not treat the ATS as a UPS or zero-interruption power source.

10. Installation and commissioning should be performed by qualified electrical personnel in accordance with the applicable electrical system and local requirements.

Important Notes

Confirm the voltage configuration before ordering; fast transfer is not equivalent to UPS-style zero-interruption power.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between UH-PW-AT01 and UH-PW-AT02?

UH-PW-AT01 is a CB-type 16–63A platform with a supplier-specified 1–2 second transfer time. UH-PW-AT02 is a higher-current PC-class platform available in 100A and 125A configurations with supplier-stated millisecond-level transfer.

Is UH-PW-AT02 really uninterruptible?

No. The supplier describes the platform as millisecond-level fast transfer, but a transfer switch still changes the load from one source to another. UHCCY does not classify it as a zero-interruption or UPS power system.

Are 110V versions available?

Yes. The supplier provides dedicated product pages for 110V utility and generator versions. Because some parameter blocks on those pages were copied from the standard-voltage version, the exact ordered voltage configuration should be confirmed before production.
