Key Product Features

WiFi Remote Control
Real-Time Energy Metering
Configurable V/A Protection

WiFi Remote Circuit Control

Connect the circuit to a compatible smart-control platform for convenient remote ON/OFF operation. Users can manage connected loads without direct access to the distribution board, making the device suitable for smart residential electrical systems and remotely managed installations.

Real-Time Electrical Monitoring

Integrated metering allows users to monitor key electrical parameters including voltage, current, active power, and accumulated energy consumption. Circuit-level energy data provides greater visibility into individual loads and helps identify abnormal or unnecessary electricity consumption.

Adjustable 1–63A Current Protection

The adjustable current setting allows the protection threshold to be configured according to the connected circuit and load requirements. This makes one device suitable for a wider range of residential and light-commercial applications while simplifying product selection and inventory management.

Configurable Electrical Protection

UH-SG-MB01 supports configurable over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current and over-power protection. When a configured threshold is reached, the device can disconnect the controlled circuit according to the selected protection settings. Exact setting ranges depend on the supplied voltage and firmware configuration.

Compact DIN-Rail Installation

The slim modular construction is designed for installation inside standard electrical distribution boards. Power enters through the upper N and L terminals, while the outgoing load is connected to the lower N and L terminals, simplifying integration into single-phase residential circuits.

Manual Control with Network Status Indication

A front-mounted control button provides local ON/OFF operation when direct control is required. The integrated WiFi signal indicator provides a quick visual reference for wireless connection status during pairing and normal operation.

Selection

Selection Guide

The UH-SG-MB01 supports an adjustable current setting from 1A to 63A, so the protection setting should be selected according to the actual circuit design rather than simply setting the device to its maximum value.

Before installation, confirm the supply voltage, maximum continuous load current, conductor capacity, connected equipment, required protection settings, and smart-control requirements.

ModelValue
Supply System Use this model for compatible single-phase AC systems using Live + Neutral (L+N) wiring. Do not use the device on an electrical system whose voltage or wiring arrangement is outside the specified operating range.
Current Setting Select the current protection setting according to the allowable current of the downstream conductor and connected load. The adjustable 1–63A range does not mean every installation should be configured at 63A.
Load Type Confirm the normal operating current and starting or inrush characteristics of the connected equipment. Motors, pumps, compressors, transformers, and other inductive loads may have substantially higher starting current than their normal running current.
Smart Control Requirement Use the WiFi version when remote switching, scheduling, energy monitoring, or smart-home integration is required. For projects requiring a specific application platform, API, wireless protocol, or third-party integration, confirm communication compatibility before ordering.

Applications

Where This Product Is Used

Residential Electrical

Residential Electrical

Protection, switching and backup-power components for residential distribution boards and low-voltage electrical systems.

The UH-SG-MB01 is designed for smart control, monitoring, and protection of single-phase AC circuits in residential and light-commercial distribution systems.

Typical applications include smart home distribution boards, apartments, rental properties, lighting circuits, water heaters, pumps, ventilation equipment, household appliances, office circuits, and other loads requiring remote switching or circuit-level energy monitoring.

Its combination of WiFi control and electrical parameter monitoring makes it particularly suitable for applications where users need both remote circuit management and visibility into electricity consumption.

Installation

Installation Guidance

Mount the device securely on the compatible DIN rail inside the electrical distribution board.

Connect the incoming single-phase power supply to the upper Power terminals:

N → Neutral
L → Live

Connect the outgoing circuit to the lower Load terminals:

N → Neutral
L → Live

Verify the Power and Load direction before energizing the circuit.

After wiring is completed, restore power and use the front control button to verify local switching operation. Complete WiFi pairing according to the supplied application instructions before configuring remote control, protection thresholds, or scheduling functions.

Terminal tightening torque, conductor cross-sectional area, stripping length, and other wiring dimensions must follow the specifications provided for the final production version of the device.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What functions does the UH-SG-MB01 provide?

The UH-SG-MB01 combines WiFi circuit switching, electrical parameter monitoring, energy metering, and voltage/current protection in one DIN-rail device. It can monitor voltage, current, active power, and accumulated energy consumption.

What is the operating voltage range?

The device is designed for an AC operating voltage range of 90–280V at 50/60Hz.

For normal installations, always confirm that the nominal system voltage and expected voltage variation are compatible with the device.

What current range does the smart circuit breaker support?

The current protection setting can be adjusted within a 1–63A range.

The appropriate setting should be determined according to the connected load and the allowable current of the circuit conductors rather than automatically using the maximum 63A setting.

What electrical parameters can it monitor?

The device supports monitoring of:

Voltage (V)
Current (A)
Active Power (W)
Accumulated Energy (kWh)

These measurements make it possible to monitor electricity consumption at individual circuit level.

Can the circuit be switched remotely?

Yes. The WiFi communication function is designed to provide remote ON/OFF control through a compatible mobile application.

The exact application platform and supported smart-home integrations depend on the supplied firmware version and should be confirmed when ordering.

Does the device support scheduled switching?

Compatible versions support timer and scheduled switching functions through the smart-control application, allowing circuits to operate automatically according to predefined schedules.

Does it require a neutral wire?

Yes. The product uses a single-phase L + N wiring configuration.

Both Live and Neutral terminals are provided on the incoming Power side and outgoing Load side.

Which direction should the device be wired?

Connect the incoming supply to the upper terminals marked Power and connect the outgoing circuit to the lower terminals marked Load.

Follow the N and L terminal markings shown on the product.

Can it be used for household energy monitoring?

Yes. The integrated metering function makes the device suitable for monitoring individual household circuits and connected loads, providing more detailed consumption information than a whole-house utility meter alone.

Can it protect against abnormal voltage or current?

The product includes V/A protection functionality intended to monitor abnormal voltage and current conditions and disconnect the controlled circuit according to configured protection parameters.

Exact adjustable thresholds and recovery settings should be confirmed for the final firmware version.

Is this product a replacement for a conventional MCB?

Not automatically. UH-SG-MB01 provides smart switching, monitoring and configurable electrical protection, but direct replacement of a conventional thermal-magnetic MCB depends on the breaking capacity, trip characteristics and applicable circuit-breaker certification of the supplied version. Where these requirements are not documented, use appropriate upstream overcurrent and short-circuit protection.

Can it be used with motors, pumps, or other inductive loads?

It may be used for compatible inductive loads provided that the normal operating current, starting current, switching capability, and protection settings are within the product specifications.

For motors, pumps, compressors, and other high-inrush loads, confirm the load characteristics before selection.

Will the smart functions continue working if the WiFi network is disconnected?

Local manual operation remains available without an active WiFi connection. Remote app functions require network connectivity. The exact protection, automation and power-recovery behavior during network outages depends on the supplied firmware configuration.

What should I confirm before ordering?

Please provide or confirm the following:

Nominal system voltage
Maximum load current
Load type
Required protection functions
Required WiFi or application platform
Quantity
Target market
Required certifications or standards
OEM branding or packaging requirements

This information helps ensure that the correct configuration is supplied.
